Mova user guide

Mova is the clinic's system for Mova Physical Therapy Clinic in Kawit: the schedule and the front desk, the clinical record, billing, messages to patients, the reports, and a portal where patients book and follow their treatment. This guide explains how to use every part of it, screen by screen.

Staff sign-in happens on a fourth page, auth.clinic-dev.sentianx.com, which the staff app opens for you. You never need to type it.

Who sees what

Mova shows each person only what their role needs. The menu on the left of the staff app changes with your role, and a screen you are not allowed to use says "Not available with your roles".

RoleDay to dayDoes not see
PhysicianConsultations, notes, prescriptions, countersigning, documents, incident reviewsBilling, settings, reports
PhysiotherapistSessions, session and progress notes, home programmes, treatment summariesBilling, settings, reports
NursePre-session checks and vital signs, the intake, acknowledging prescriptions, the scheduleBilling, settings, reports
Front deskThe schedule, check-in, registration, payments, receipts, reminders, the boardClinical notes and prescriptions
Clinic administratorEverything the desk does, plus settings, the team, reports, refunds and payClinical notes and prescriptions

The desk and the administrator never read clinical notes. They see what they need to run the day: who is booked, for what service, whether a course still has sessions to book, and what is owed. Reports show clinical results only as totals, never by patient.

A day at the clinic, in Mova

  1. Before opening, the desk prints the day sheet in case the screens go down, and looks at the tiles on the staff home.
  2. Patients arrive and the desk checks them in. The nurse sees who to check before their session.
  3. The therapist starts the session from the waiting room. Mova shows a Before the session screen with anything that should stop or change the treatment.
  4. The therapist writes the note, starting from the last one, and signs it.
  5. Finishing the session creates the charge. The desk takes the payment and prints the receipt.
  6. During the day, the desk calls patients to a room, tells waiting patients if a therapist is running late, and rings tomorrow's patients who have not confirmed.
  7. At closing, the desk closes the day: counts the drawer and checks it against what was taken.
